Extend the flexibility of your Universal Robot with fast, repeatable and easy tool changes.  Complete with both electrical and pneumatic pass-throughs. There are 2 6mm push-to-connect fittings to easily plumb compressed air for opening and closing pneumatic grippers or compressed air to drive integral venturi vacuum pumps built into the tool plates.  Vacuum may also be plumbed to the tool to power foam vacuum grippers and suction cups and the second port may be used for monitoring vacuum levels in the system for use with vacuum switches and sensors mounted at the base of the robot. 

The M8 8 Pin connector extends the functionality of the 8 Pin connector on the robot wrist.  Send power to valves and transmit signals from reed switches and vacuum sensors on the tool back to the robot controller. Weighing just 7 kg and standing only 35 mm tall, Millibar’s line of tool changers are lightweight and low profile to maximize robot payload and fit into confined spaces. Change tools easily with the single lever cam lock release bar. The extended length and ergonomic finger catch minimizes opening and closing forces while providing a secure locking mechanism.
